Canada ‘Buzzes’ Over Cannabis Business Convention

O’Cannabiz Conference & Expo

Canada’s premiere cannabis business industry event, the first-ever O'Cannabiz Conference & Expo attracted over 3000 attendees during its three-day run from April 21 to 23 in Toronto. The event, held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, featured an impressive lineup of over 80 speakers and 100 exhibitors from North America and abroad offering expert keynote presentations, panel discussions and seminars to explore the future of cannabis in Canada.

With full legalization slated for Canada Day 2018, attendees of the O’Cannabiz Conference and Expo selected from a number of sessions that focused on the best practices for legalized medicinal and recreational marijuana, the cannabis investment landscape, how to build a cannabis business, challenges and opportunities in cross-border relations, and more.

• Marijuana and Sports: A panel discussion about marijuana use and endorsement by professional athletes, featuring basketball legend Rick Barry and snowboarding Olympian Ross Rebagliati
• A packed Expo floor featuring licensed producers, infused product manufacturers, equipment providers, testing labs, ancillary services, technology and product companies, and more.
