As CEO of Jekyll+Hyde Brand Builders, Kerry brings her over 25 years mainstream brand strategy, marketing and strategic communications consulting to the forefront for J+H. Part of the larger Jekyll+Hyde Cannabis Group, which encompasses an acquisition arm and an “under construction” multi-platform cannabis community, Kerry also has extensive experience in crisis and issues management and digital and mobile engagement. J+H currently works with clients in the US and Canada and is publicly traded on the CSE under the ticker JH.
Her former firm, Reboot Consulting Group, was merged into J+H as part of the new entity along with a proprietary mobile engagement app she and partner Jayne Beckwith developed called CHERP.
Her previous roles include a stint as CMO of a San Francisco based marketing management software development company and a partnership at one of Canada’s leading brand strategy firms.
After leaving her role as President of the Canadian business unit of global PR agency Weber Shandwick in 2010, Kerry formed brand strategy firm Reboot Consulting.
After spending the majority of her over two decades long marketing communications career either building her own international communications management firm or working with major agencies and brands, she decided to take her extensive channel neutral marketing experience working with government, big brands, not for profits and other private sector clients and marry it with her brand strategy experience to form a unique consulting group.
Kerry has worked internationally with The Governments of The Bahamas, South Africa, Cayman Islands, Barbados, Turks and Caicos, Ontario and Canada in a variety of sectors including CSR, tourism, international business, financial services, economic development and trade, education and health and long term care.
On the private sector front, she has worked with professional services firms, banks and other financial services firms, CPG companies, QSR and a number of hospitality companies.
She has extensive experience in developing and implementing traditional marketing strategies and plans with digital, interactive, social media and mobile delivery channels and is a contributing blogger for The Huffington Post Canada.
Kerry speaks frequently on crisis and issues management, brand strategy and reputation management in the digital age. She was also visiting professor for five years at Ryerson University in the Department of Radio and Television Arts.
