Excise Tax: What You Need to Know to Stay Compliant
Packaging cannabis? Have you filed your B300 Excise Duty return? Having a Health Canada license is no longer the only point of compliance. By November 30th, LPs are also required to files B300 Excise Duty tax returns. Failing to do so can put a stop to your LP’s operations. Even if you are not responsible for packaging and calculating the excise duty there will still be a requirement to file the B300 return to itemize your inventory of product and also report on your stamps.
