Dr. Ivan Casselman
Dr. Ivan Casselman (Ph.D., FLS) is an experienced and accomplished Cannabis and Psychedelic Science Advisor, Researcher, Writer, and Business Developer with over 19 years of success across the cannabis, agriculture, and academic industries. Ivan first dedicated his research to Salvia divinorum, a psychedelic plant from Mexico, while completing his Master of Science in Ethnobotany. Ivan went on to receive a Ph.D. in Plant Science (analytical chemistry and genetics), during which, Ivan continued his research on Salvia divinorum, including a population genetic analysis of key markers to determine the genetic diversity of the species, as well as a phytochemical analysis. Dr. Casselman has been researching and writing about psychedelic medicine and cannabis for over 10 years and is well versed in the use patterns and science of a myriad of psychedelic plants. Ivan’s experience in the development and authentication of herbal formulations provides him with unique insight into product development and marketing positioning across various commercial applications.
