Lorenzo Lisi, Practice Group Leader of Aird & Berlis LLP’s Workplace Law Group, has practised exclusively in the area of labour and employment law for over 25 years.
Lorenzo has an in-depth understanding of the workplace issues which may arise from legislation such as the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Canada). He provides incisive guidance and strategic advice on a wide range of matters, including accommodating medical marijuana in the workplace, workplace safety and compliance, wrongful and constructive dismissal, human rights, performance management, privacy and access to information and employment standards and agreements. He also advises employers on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings and regularly appears before the courts and administrative tribunals on behalf of clients, both provincially and federally.
Lorenzo is on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Council to Employers and has served as a member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.
