Michael McTaggart
Mike McTaggart is a partner at PwC specializing in Corporate Advisory and Restructuring. He has been involved in numerous multi-faceted restructuring engagements, insolvency assignments and special situations.
Over the past ten years Mike has performed extensive analytical analysis of the trends, structures and situations that escalate financial distress. Throughout this time he has worked with multiple teams and stakeholders to develop tools and techniques to predict financial distress.
Mike’s recent insolvency work includes the court appointed receiver of Bridging Finance Inc., the court appointed receiver on the Cresford Group’s 33 Yorkville Project, the court appointed monitor on Wayland Inc. (the cannabis industries first reverse vesting order), and the court appointed monitor on the retailer Forever 21.
Mike is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT), a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
