
Neal Claassen
Neal Claassen is the VP Corporate Development (Canada) for Visual Elements, and subsidiary brand SEVENPOINT Interiors. With almost three decades experience in store design and fixture manufacturing, Neal knows how to make the visual side of a brand identity take form. Neal works with countless museums and famous brands including COACH, Nordstrom and Louis Vuitton. He leveraged this knowledge for cannabis retail and has helped create and develop many of the top brands in cannabis including Spiritleaf, The Hunny Pot, The Friendly Stranger, and Scarlet Fire. Neal has written many magazine articles and has been featured in many more, including Cannabis Retailer, Heads Lifestyle, The Business of Cannabis and Cannabis Prospect magazine.
Neal enjoys giving back and paying forward. He created the PAVE student design challenge, a premier annual global student retail design competition, and continues his involvement today. He sits on various educational advisory boards, and he is also a high-level ski instructor, a performance level ski coach, and a rugby coach.
Neal studied economics at Carleton University.
