With the love and support of his life partner, Paul recently opened Vertie, a small cannabis store in downtown Toronto. Paul is among the few operators who have chosen not to cover their storefront windows. Instead, Paul took a different approach to compliance – one that prevents the sight of restricted things by minors while improving the overall customer experience and security of the store. Before starting Vertie, Paul served his community as a front-line police officer and has been a quiet lover and proponent of cannabis for more years than not. Paul looks forward to seeing an end to the stigma surrounding cannabis and is proud to be part of the community and to share his passion for this beautiful plant!
