Sherry Boodram
Dr. Sherry Boodram is the CEO and Co-Founder of CannDelta Inc., an award-winning regulatory and scientific cannabis and psychedelics consulting firm. She is an industry thought leader who regularly participates as a public speaker and contributes to a variety of media outlets. Prior to beginning CannDelta Inc., she spent several years in the Canadian federal government, most notably at Health Canada’s Medical Cannabis and Controlled Substances Programs as a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement Officer. Dr. Boodram has extensive knowledge and experience in regulatory and licensing submissions, international policy and regulation development, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence inspections and audits, internal quality management systems and processes, facility design and operational optimization, and education. Dr. Boodram sits on the board of a publicly-traded company and a non-profit organization. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from York University, a Hon. B.Sc. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Cannabis Law and Regulation from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University, and a Graduate Certificate with Honours in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Quality Operations from Seneca College.
