Brytany Melville is the Director of Stores for Canadian Cannabis retail store, Tokyo Smoke. With 12+ years of entrepreneurial and high volume retail experience coupled with a background in Human Resources Management, she began her cannabis career in Winnipeg, Manitoba opening the first legal retail stores in Canada.
Brytany moved on to successfully open the downtown Yonge and Dundas Tokyo Smoke which was one of Ontario’s first licensed cannabis stores and now the largest retail location in Ontario. This store played a pivotal role in building the Tokyo Smoke brand for Ontario by developing and refining new retail operations, elevating customer service standards and providing guests with an engaging, thoughtful and educational retail experience.
Miss Melville represents Ontario retailers as a co-chair for the OCS Retail Advisory Panel where she is responsible for providing holistic industry-specific feedback to all panel members and communicating decisions and direction to the retail community. Through this experience, Brytany has become a subject matter expert in the cannabis retail industry, through her numerous store openings, industry engagement, and overall contributions to cannabis retail operations development.
