Steven has an extensive record of professional achievement with progressive experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, large scale construction services, and supply chain management. Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Steven was the Vice President of Operations at a nonprofit healthcare organization, where he was the champion for strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation across 12 healthcare organizations, with responsibilities for over 100 staff and $600M in yearly contracts.
Steven successfully opened the first ever licensed cannabis store in Hamilton, Ontario which is arguably one of the busiest stores in Canada. Steven has quickly become an influencer in the industry, through his vast network, contributions to cannabis policy, and extensive engagement with cannabis entrepreneurs.
Steven is proudly the President and Co-founder of Sessions Cannabis, an emerging and disruptive retail cannabis brand which is on track to open upwards of 20 retail stores in Ontario this year. Sessions is all about embracing the cannabis community, significantly improving the customer experience, and becoming an internationally trusted brand. Sessions has been featured in many online, print, radio, and live news media including: Toronto Life, BNN Bloomberg, CBC, The Globe and Mail, Global News, CTV, etc.
Steven holds a Master in Business Administration from McMaster University and has a Certified Health Executive designation.
