Steven Fry has an extensive record of professional achievement with progressive experience in entrepreneurship, retail excellence, marketing, leadership, large scale construction services, finance, and supply chain management.
Steven successfully opened the first ever licensed cannabis retail store in Hamilton, Ontario which he grew to become one of the busiest stores in Canada. Steven has quickly become an influencer in the cannabis industry, through his vast network, contributions to cannabis policy, and extensive engagement with cannabis entrepreneurs. Steven served as a select member of the Ontario Recreational Cannabis Advisory Panel on behalf of the Ontario Cannabis Store. Steven has been featured in many online, print, radio, and live news media, including: Toronto Life, BNN Bloomberg, CBC, The Globe and Mail, Global News, and CTV, among others.
Steven is proudly the President and Co-founder of Sessions Cannabis, one of the fastest growing and largest licenced cannabis retail brands in Ontario with over 50 locations (42 currently open). Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brock University, Master of Business Administration from McMaster University, and has a Certified Health Executive designation.
Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Steven was the Vice President of Operations at Shared Services West, where he was the champion for strategic sourcing and supply chain transformation across 12 healthcare organizations, with responsibilities for over 100 staff and yearly procurable spend of over $1 billion.
